The Resident Director, J Farr, said that I can move out this weekend!!!
My roommate just spoke to JFarr and she told me that she is ok that I am moving out.
As for Emilia, she is going to get a random person as her new roommate or she might have the room for herself for the rest of the year which is not likely to happen but possible.
I feel a little .... don't know how to describe it... erm... I feel kind of bad for Emilia, because it's one thing that she gets the room to herself but what if she gets a crappy roommate?
Actually, I secretly wish that she will have a new roommate so that I can get $80 back. Before school started, we have decided to rent a microwave & a fridge that cost $160/year. Now that I am leaving the room, obviously I want that money back but Emilia said she can't give me back my $80 until the new roommate gives her the $. The thing that bugs me that is what if she doesn't get a new roommate or her new roommate doesn't need to use the microwave & fridge and wouldn't give her the $?
The biggest problem is that Annie (my future roommate) doesn't have a microfridge and we want to get one! Then I'll have to pay an extra $80????

What's going on?
Classes started last Wednesday, and I have been extremely busy since then. It seems to me that 24 hours a day is not enough to get everything done. The huge amount of readings (homeworks) the professors assign can be stressful, especially when I am not used to reading 200 pages (textbooks) a day and writing long essays. As a result, I just dropped ANTH 160 Contemporary Social Issues. I have asked around and many people told me that I am taking too many credit hours (17 credit hours) as a freshman. I also spoke with my academic advisor and he said that "you are taking an awful lots of hours". I didn't think about dropping a class until just now because I thought I will be able to deal with all the work but I was wrong. I finally realized that I need to give myself a break, freshmen usually only take 12~16 hours their first semester, so 14 credit hours which I have now, is very reasonable.
Besides from classes, I go to IV meetings and we just had our 1st Bible study group yesterday (Tuesday). It is a wonderful way to keep myself close to God in this busy and frustrating schedule. I am having quite a bit of problem with my roommate because of our personal preferences. My roommate is an extremely light sleeper and basically, I cannot do anything when she is sleeping since the tiniest noise may wake her up. It became a big conflict for both of us, so I am going to move into my friend Annie's room. The possibility of that is 90% but some problems are still waiting to be solved. My roommate and I are going to meet with the Residence Director who deals with roommate problems in the hall tomorrow. Hopefully we can come up to an agreement after that meeting.
So, except the roommate problem, pretty much everything is going well for me.
By the way, I go by Yinting in UIUC. No one calls me Veronica, so when you send me something in the mail, address it to Yinting Wang :)

I'm having a little problem with my roommate
but I'm sure it will get sorted out very soon.
Compare to yesterday, the situation has improved.
At least, we said "Good morning" to each other.
I think this problem has drawn me closer to God,
because there is nothing else that I could do.
Another lesson God wants me to learn.
Let's see how God will lead me this time :D

2nd day of class
It is still hard to believe that I'm a college student.
I still don't think I'm a college student although I realized
that I had a lot of misunderstanding about the college life.
I used to think that college is all about fun but judging from
the classes I had these 2 days, college definitely has more
work than high school.
Life isn't as scheduled as high school's any more.
I find the gaps between each class very hard to make use of.
In high school, I needed to wake up at 7:30am and leave the
house at 7:15am. Now, I wake up at 7am to get ready for a 9am
class because the campus is too big! It takes at least 10-15 minutes
to walk to the classroom. During that 2 hours, I need to check email,
facebook (also read the daily Bible scripture thingy), use the bathroom,
eat breakfast.
Maybe it's just me, but I wish there is 48 hours a day so I can finish
all the things I want to do.

Pastor Albert's looong sermon
went to The Vineyard Church w/ vivian today
i think i miss pastor albert's long sermon
vineyard has really short sermon
it was like that's only the intro, rite???
n they dun hv anything else under the bullet points
the pastor said the bullet pt., explained for like 2 minutes
then moved on to the next pt.
n there r like 3 pts + a "conclusion" that encourages u to
take their course~ some free n some not
the music was definitely GOOD
tho i've never heard of those songs they sang
miss SBBC a lot
think vineyard's a little too big for me
it has 3 sessions on sunday
n the whole church has 2500 ppl
so no one will ever "know" u unless u join a small gp.
n they hv like 60 small gps!
still need sometime to figure out if this is the rite church for me
