靈糧堂劉梅軒中學 - 十周年

10 years
finally, i've been hoping to attend a dinner gathering since i was little
i always thot it's really cool to tell people that i'll be attending some sort of anniversary gathering :P

last night, i got to see a lot of friends and schoolmates
some of whom i actually never speak to while i was at school
it was nice to finally talk to them

many of them are working
some still studying
few went to college

i guess i am one of the luckier ones

-----

好學生和壞學生的隔膜
is it really that thick?
i talked to patrick for the first time last night
it's been 10 years since we knew each other
we entered LLC at the same time
but never talked to each other
he said he was afraid to talk to me
because i was on the good students side

a winter break full of traveling plans

finally got back to hk after traveling for 20+ hours
someone needs to invent some kind of tech that can send me to my destination instantly
im sick of planes and airports

got home at 8:30am
before i even got to rest
my dad told me to go to the office with him
and he made me work for him for the rest of my break.....

on the way to driving to the office
dad told me that i'll be going with him on a business trip to munich, germany in feb
before the chinese new year i think

then when we got to the office
my dad told me that im going back to taiwan on monday
an one day trip to taiwan (coming back on tues night)
what the heck
i just landed in hk
i guess time to meet my NCTU friends

i still need to find time to go to seoul, korea
this is gonna be a busy break

hk - taiwan - hk - (hopefully korea) - germany - hk - taiwan - hk - japan
i bet i'll have to go to southern china with my dad many times this break too

ski + SF

it wasnt the best trip i'd say
taking care of 7 boys who supposedly can take care of themselves was the hardest task
snowboarding = death
my legs were burbing afterwards
it was terrible
never again

still had fun tho
the tour guide we had in SF was awesome
he's very knowledable and he has a brit accent!
he left england when he was 17 to travel the world
the bus tour was a great way to get a brief overview of SF

auntie ruth opened up her house for us to stay at
the boys had to cram in the study room
the study room became a concentration camp
we had a lot of food
we had a dumpling night after SF
and a potluck on xmas day
when she also had a gospel sharing meeting

one thing i learned from her is that
we can careless about what people will think and just share the gospel

Super long winter break

Japan schools go by a different calendar. They start school in April and end in Aug (first semester), start school again in Oct and end in Feb (2nd semester). Since I'm studying abroad in Japan next semester, I 'll have a 3 month winter break. Basically, I'll have my winter break as summer vacation and summer vacation as winter break (only 1 month).

bday 21

i feel so old now. i wish time would stop and i could be 21 years old forever.
spent the bday with my closest friends. we went to clys.
interesting how i don't feel like drinking anymore, cuz the excitment from thinking i might get caught no longer exists.

it doesnt feel all that different to be 21
absolutely normal
