Horrible

Mom told me that my little sister, Michelle, is not doing very well at school and wants me to help her a little. So I asked Michelle's tutor what I could do to help Michelle improve and guess what happened?! 

Me: Hi Caroline, I sorta looked at the workbook you gave Michelle and I think (note that I didn't even finish the sentence)

Caroline: I've been teaching in university for 14 years, I know what to do and I DON"T NEED YOUR ADVICE. (She is a lecturer in the University of Hong Kong, she has a Master degree in English)

OK... You've been teaching college students for 14 years and you don't need my adivce. Excuse me lady, I'm not trying to give you advice. I'm just trying to voice my opinion and talk with you a bit to see what I could do to help my sister the most! If you think you are doing a great job about teaching Michelle, then she shouldn't have any problem with her school work and mom won't be asked to go to school to talk about Michelle's situation.

Who do you think you are?! Just because you had that extra years of education, you think you are better than everyone else and everything people with lesser education say is rubbish?!

• Came back to Hong Kong a week ago but still haven't touch my homework yet :P
  It's a bit hot and humid over here but I like it though
  I don't get as many zits or dry skin problems here
  I thought I won't have allergy when I come back here
  that doesn't seem to be the case

30 hour famine ended yesterday. i learned a little more than just knowing what being hungry means. i learned the importance of listening to what your parents say. when i told my mom that i wanted to do the famine last year, she didn't allow it cuz she thought i was too skinny. this year, i didn't tell her that i was doing the famine and what happened? i had to break the fast 5 hrs earlier cuz i was feeling cold, shaking a little n was about to burf. there's always a reason behind what parents tell me to do n it's always my loses to disobey.

Just finished applying for the Freshman Orientation and housing. Can't believe that I had to write a 200-400 word essay to apply for housing!! What do you hope to gain from and contribute to the Learning and Living Community? anyway, my choices are: 

1. Allen/Unit One        2. Weston Exploration        3. Global Crossroad
