Dark Days

Dark Days is a documentary made by Marc Singer, a British filmmaker. The film follows a group of people living in an abandoned section of the New York City underground railway system, more precisely the area of the so called Freedom Tunnel.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Days_(documentary)

the glamorous life
new york city
times square
madison ave
empire state
5th ave
statue of liberty
broadway
manhattan big corporations
the privileged

the ugly life?
new york city?
freedom tunnel?
trash diggers?
homeless?
garbage pickers?
alum cans collectors?
underground?
drugs?

when i think of new york city
it's always the fascinating nyc
of course
what city gov't would want to advertise
that their city has homeless people and drug addicts

we all have dreams
everyone messes up along the way
some stand back up and keep going
some don't
some lose hope
some turn in the wrong direction
but
we all need help
at some point of our dream-achieving journey
there are people who help us

and all those freedom tunnel residents need
all they need is a little more help
people with faith to believe them one more time
