scars

mom told me not to jump down 10 steps of stairs,
i did.
ended up hitting my forehead on the door handle,
had to get stitches and live with a permanent scar.
mom told me not to run around the house,
i did.
ended up tripping over and hit my eyebrow on a marble stair.
got stitches and live with an eyebrow that’s split into two sections.
mom told me not to jump off the top bunk,
i did.
ended up with an crooked spine.
i don’t quite know how i live till this day without hurting myself severely.
